Our Mission
To harness technology, community networks, and government partnership to efficiently report, document, and resolve missing persons cases across all 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara State, leaving no family without answers and no person without a chance of being found.
The Problem We Are Solving
Kwara State faces an escalating security crisis. Between January 2024 and August 2025, over 133 security incidents were recorded in the state, resulting in more than 144 fatalities. The devastating attack on Woro village in February 2026, in which over 160 residents were killed and many more abducted, underscored an urgent need for systems that can respond to disappearances quickly and effectively.
Across Nigeria, over 23,000 missing persons cases have been recorded, the highest on the African continent according to the International Committee of the Red Cross. Yet despite Section 90 of the Nigerian Police Act 2020 mandating the reporting of missing persons within 24 hours, there is no effective digital system in place for Kwara State. Families have been left without tools, without information, and without hope.

What We Do
Provide a free, accessible digital database for reporting and searching missing persons in Kwara State
Generate shareable digital posters instantly upon submission to maximise community awareness
Coordinate between families, law enforcement, medical facilities, and civil society
Provide psychosocial support resources to affected families
Maintain data integrity through a two-tier verification system in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force
Enable tip submission from any member of the public, no registration required to submit a lead

Our Approach
We believe that finding a missing person requires the combined effort of government, technology, and community. Our platform is built on three pillars:
Technology: A robust, mobile-first web platform accessible on any device, with low-bandwidth compatibility for rural Kwara communities.
Community: Shareable posters optimised for WhatsApp and social media, enabling the "see and report" culture that has proven effective across Africa.
Governance: Integration with the Kwara State Government's SafeState Initiative ensures official backing, data security, police coordination, and sustainable funding.
